Committees
Committees are open to the public and include members of our board, staff and membership to work toward specific goals in the watershed.
Currently, all committee meetings are held remotely via Google Meet. If you are interested in joining a committee, email info@jacobscreekwatershed.org to get on the invite list.
EVENT COMMITTEE
Goal: Work to create opportunities for all to inspire community engagement and environmental stewardship by organizing educational, clean-up, and recreational events.
Chair: Amanda Eustey & Nicole Seese
Meetings: Bimonthly, second Monday of the month from 7:00pm-8:00pm
Events: Mentored Youth, ORSANCO/Adopt-A-Highway Clean-Up, Fishing Derby, Headwaters Party, and MORE!
Goal: Committed to conserving, restoring, and rehabilitating Jacobs Creek. Guided by our Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP), we prioritize best management practices in stream bank stabilization and stormwater mitigation to protect and enhance the health and resilience of our watershed.
