Committees
Committees are open to the public and include members of our board, staff and membership to work toward specific goals in the watershed.
Currently, all committee meetings are held remotely via Google Meet. If you are interested in joining a committee, email denise@jacobscreekwatershed.org to get on the invite list.
RECREATION COMMITTEE
Mission Statement: To create awareness of Jacobs Creek Watershed Association through accessible recreation with an educational component, while connecting ALL ages, ALL interests, and ALL regions to our watershed.

Meetings: Bimonthly, Last Wednesday of the month from 7:00pm-8:00pm
Events: Mentored Youth Trout Day, Pop-up Paddling, Family Float Day, The Headwaters Party, Fishing Derby, and more!
Mission Statement: Building community and encouraging conservation through shared knowledge.

Meetings: Bimonthly, First Wednesday of the month from 7:00pm-8:00pm
Events: Scholarship, Creek Connections, Wetland Walks, Tot Time and Nature Explorer Camps, Macro Mondays, and more!
CLEAN-UP COMMITTEE
Mission Statement: The identification, planning and safe removal of trash, tires, and debris from our creek.

Meetings: Bimonthly, Third Wednesday of the month from 7:00pm-8:00pm
Events: Adopt-A-Highway Clean-Up, Creek Falls Clean-Up, ORSANCO River-Sweep, Tire Round-Up, and more!
Mission Statement: To Conserve, restore, and rehabilitate Jacobs Creek through best management practices in stream bank stabilization and stormwater mitigation as prioritized by our Watershed Implementation Plan
